ZAS Airline of Egypt
ZAS Airline of Egypt was an Egyptian airline based in Cairo, the perceived flights both domestically as well as charter flights to Cologne, Frankfurt, Zurich and Paris.
History
The Airlinie acted after its founding, first in the freight sector. The first passenger flight took place on November 1982 from London to Cairo, via Amsterdam. It followed on the passenger sector charter flights - initially for pilgrims to Mecca. In 1987, the airline license for worldwide charter flights. From Cairo was served, inter alia, Zurich. Inner Egyptian scheduled flights made at the end of 1988.
ZAS ( Zarkani Air Service ) carried 350,000 passengers in 1989.
