Zatch Bell!

Gash! (Japanese金色 の ガッシュ ベル!, Konjiki no Gash Bell! ) is a manga series by Makoto Raiku which was made into an anime series in 2003. You can assign the Shōnen- genus and is about a young man who must deliver fights using a friend.

Action

Fourteen- year-old outsider Kiyomaro Takamine (高岭 清 麿Takamine Kiyomaro ) lives with his mother in Japan. One day he finds his father, who works in England, an unconscious boy in a forest. This boy, Gash Bell (ガッシュ·ベルGasshu Beru ), has lost his memory. Kiyomaros father sends Gash to Japan, where he is to be the mentor of Kiyomaro.

Gash is no ordinary boy, but one of a hundred demons from the underworld, the duel every thousand years on earth to determine the next king of the demons. Each demon has its own book, each with its own color, in which there are spells that can only read the guardian of the book.

By the time Kiyomaro and Gash learn more and more about the duels, meet friends and enemies and learn new spells.

Publications

Konjiki no Gash Bell! appears in Japan since 2001 in individual chapters in the manga magazine Shōnen Sunday of Shogakukan Publishing. These individual chapters have been summarized in 33 anthologies.

In German the manga series appeared from 2003 to 2006 in the magazine Manga Twister the publisher Egmont Manga and anime titled Gash! and was published from 2004 in anthologies. After seven volumes of the publication has been canceled.

Anime

Toei Animation produced the manga a 150 - episode anime series that was aired Sunday morning of 6 April 2003 to 26 March 2006, the Japanese television station Fuji TV. In addition, due to the great success of the animation and the manga series two cinema films were:

  • Konjiki no Gash Bell! - 101- banme no Mamono (金色 の ガッシュ ベル101番目 の 魔物! ) (Premiere: August 7, 2004)
  • Konjiki no Gash Bell! - Mekabarukan no Raishū (金色 の ガッシュ ベル メカバルカン の 来襲) (premiere: August 6, 2005)
