The Zavratnica [ zavratɲit͡sa ] is a bay on the northern Adriatic Sea in Croatia. It is located about 60 kilometers south of the city of Rijeka in the Kvarner bay opposite the island of Rab The bay is as geomorphologic natural phenomenon under protection.

The Zavratnica is located within walking distance of the village and the ferry Jablanac. It is about 1 km long and between 50 and 150 m wide. From the bay, hiking trails lead into the Velebit massif to the long distance footpath Premuzic.

On the seabed can be seen in a few meters deep while the wreck of a World War II by British fighter-bombers sank Siebel ferry the Wehrmacht.
