Zavrč

Zavrč ( German " Sauritsch " ) is a municipality in the Spodnja Štajerska region in Slovenia.

The municipality is located in northeastern part of Zavrč Slovenia, 20 km from Ptuj. It is part of the famous wine-growing region Haloze. In the general community, consisting of nine villages and hamlets 1569 people live. Worth seeing is the castle from the 17th century.
