ZAZ -1102 Tavria

The ZAZ Tavria is a small car of the Ukrainian automobile manufacturer ZAZ. Production began in 1987. Tavria The was the first vehicle manufacturer with water-cooled front engine and front wheel drive. The car gave it as a three-door hatchback model ZAZ -1102 Tavria, from 1994 as a five-door station wagon model ZAZ -1105 Dana and from 1999 as an extended hatchback model ZAZ -1103 Slavuta. In parallel, from 1993, a commercial vehicle version ZAZ 110550 Tavria pick-up as a pickup and a van. The vehicles of the Tavria range feature the 1.1 - to 1.3 -liter engines with 38 to 49 kW.

With an identical wheelbase of 2,320 mm, the Tavria is 3708 mm long, 1554 mm wide and 1410 mm high and weighs 760 kg. The Slavuta measures 3980 x 1578 x 1425 mm and weighs 856 kg.

At the beginning of the 1990s Tavria for a short time was offered with modest success on the German Lada Automobile GmbH in Germany. He had a direct competitor not here only but much more modern Lada Samara could be regarded as a distant competitor.
