Zbehy

Zbehy ( until 1927 slovak also " Izbehy "; Hungarian Üzbég ) is a municipality in the Nitra Okres within the Nitriansky kraj in Slovakia with 2238 inhabitants ( 31 December 2011).

Geography

The municipality is located in the Slovak Danube hilly country, on the river Radošinka, between its confluence with the stream ANDAC and the mouth in the Nitra. Zbehy is 10 kilometers from Nitra and 21 km Hlohovecký.

Administratively, the church in the capital Zbehy, and four kilometers northwest lying district ANDAC is ( incorporated in 1986, Hungarian Kisandacs ) divided.

History

The site was probably first mentioned in 1156 as Jegu writing.
