Zbigniew Chmielowiec

Zbigniew Chmielowiec ( born September 22, 1954 in Kolbuszowa ) is a Polish politician ( Prawo i Sprawiedliwość - PiS), former mayor of Kolbuszowa and since 2005 member of the Sejm in the V. and VI. Election period.

He finished his studies at Cracow University of Technology and was then engaged in building production plants.

From 1994 to 2002 he was a town councilor of Kolbuszowa. Since 1990 he has worked as a department manager in the local self-government, then representative of the mayor and mayor from 1998 to 2005.

In the 2005 parliamentary elections, he was elected on the list of PiS for the constituency with 10,236 votes Rzeszów in the Sejm. In the early parliamentary elections in 2007, he was deputy for the second time, this time with 17,243 votes. He is a member of Sejm committees for environmental protection and infrastructure.
