Zbigniew Kozak

Zbigniew Ryszard Kozak ( born April 3, 1961 in Gdynia ) is a Polish politician, a local politician and since 2005 member of the Sejm in the V. and VI. Legislature.

He finished his studies at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Automation at the Technical University of Gdańsk and the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Gdańsk. After 1993 he worked in IT companies.

In 1993 he joined the party Unia Polityki Realnej (Union of Real Politics - UPR). He also served as Chairman of the circle Pomerania and member of the Main Board of the party. In 2004, he joined the party Prawo i Sprawiedliwość ( Law and Justice - PiS) in, he is the chairman of this party in Gdynia.

In the 2005 parliamentary elections, he was elected for the constituency Gdynia Slupsk on the list of PiS in the Sejm. A year later, he ran for the office of Mayor of Gdynia, but reached only 7.49% of the vote.

The Sejmwahlen 2007, he was confirmed for the PiS with 9,608 votes as a Member. He is a member of the Sejm commissions for economic and infrastructure.
