Zbyněk Brynych

Zbynek Brynych ( born June 13, 1927 in Karlovy Vary, Czechoslovakia; † August 24, 1995 in Prague, Czech Republic) was a Czech film director.

Life and work

Brynych came about various film professions - he was scriptwriter, assistant director, auxiliary director and director for documentaries - and a correspondence course at the Faculty of Film and Television at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague ( FAMU ) for film director for feature films. From 1953 to 1955 he worked first in the Army Film Studio, then in the game film studio in 1958 when he made ​​his first feature film, Suburban Romance realized.
