Zé Augusto

José Augusto Nascimento Borges or short Zé Augusto ( born March 7, 1959 in Bahia) is a Brazilian football coach.

Career

As a player Zé Augusto was only active in the Brazilian division club teams. After his playing career, he went into the coaching business and came to the youth program of Corinthians. In 2007, he broke briefly Émerson Leão as head coach of the first team, and replaced these interim basis. April 7, 2007 Zé Augusto his debut gave up on this post in the competition for the state championship of São Paulo against the unterklassigen Club América Futebol Clube (SP). Eleven days later, on April 18, he was the last time in this position working for the Corinthinas player before he was replaced by Paulo César Carpeggiani. All, he supervised the team in three competitive games, of which he lost none. He then moved back to the junior level of the club. Among his greatest discoveries is one of the offensive players Lulinha, he helped his professional debut on April 7. In August Carpeggiani was released after only five months and Zé Augusto again employed as a firefighter. But even he could put the team in a relegation battle hardly new impulses and end of September 2009 was replaced by Nelsinho Baptista.

Among his other discoveries in the junior level of the association include, among others Willian and the subsequent national player Jô.
