The newspaper vum Lëtzebuerger Vollek ( Luxembourgish for newspaper for the Luxembourg people ) is a Marxist -oriented political daily newspaper in Luxembourg. Coverage includes all areas of society as well as national and international political events. The newspaper was first published on 1 July 1946 and has its headquarters in Esch- sur -Alzette. It is regarded as the central organ of the Communist Party of Luxembourg (KPL ). The publisher of the newspaper annually receives around 300,000 € of government press subsidies.
