Zeki Alasya

Zeki Alasya ( born April 16, 1943 in Istanbul) is a Turkish actor, stage actor, film director and screenwriter. Through his artistic partnership with Metin Akpınar he formed one of the most famous comedy duo of Turkish film history. He is the nephew of Kâmil Pasha.

Life and career

After Zeki Alasya received his degree from Robert College in Istanbul in 1959, he initially joined in MTTB theater as an amateur actor. He was co-founder of 1967 opened Devekuşu Theater, which is considered the first Turkish Cabaret. In 1973 he made ​​his first professional film and since 1977 he also directed.

Most of his films he played with Metin Akpınar, where he usually approached the role of the dub.
