Zhaojue County

Zhaojue (Chinese昭觉 县, Pinyin Zhaojue Xiàn; Yi: Juojjop ꏪ ꐦ ) is a circle of Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture in southwest China's Sichuan province. It has an area of 2699 km ² and has 210,000 inhabitants ( 2002). Its main town is the large village Xincheng (新 城镇).

The Boshenwahei rock pictures ( Boshenwahei Yanhua博什瓦 黑 岩画) are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 6-855 ) since 2006.
