The mural crown was increased by 1 m and widened to 3.50 m. The parapet walls have been replaced by a railing. The valve house on the crown got a 1.5 m wide use. The house had until then all settings are made by hand. In its construction (drainage) were placed in the wall between the wall segments drainage channels, the sintered gradually. Vertical holes in the wall are now serving the drainage. The mural crown may be crossed since the late repair of pedestrians.

Waterworks

He has about 2.63 million m³ storage space and 2.83 million m³ total storage space. Its water level is at 470.19 m above sea level. NN and its catchment area is approximately 10.7 km ². The mean flow is about 0.15 m³ / s

Leisure

Because of the drinking water protection area should not be bathed in the lake. The umwaldete reservoir can be, for example, from Drei Annen Hohne, Elbingerode and Wernigerode Coming hiked and hike around near the shore on an approximately 4.5 -mile loop trail that also leads over the dam. A side road leads to the dam located near the Peter Stone, from whose vantage point the view of the dam and reservoir is possible.
