The Zimni Stadium Karlovy Vary is a hockey rink in Karlovy Vary. The hall, which was originally opened in 1947 until the end of the 2008/09 season was the home ground of HC Energie Karlovy Vary.

History

The originally open stadium in Karlovy Vary was built in 1947. Only in 1975, the stadium was covered. 1990 began the renovation of the venue, which since then has a capacity of 4,680 spectators.

In the season 2007/ 08, the highest Czech league, the Extraliga HC Energie Karlovy Vary of reaching the play-off final against HC Slavia Prague. Here, the ice rink in Karlovy Vary was sold out eight times, while in the regular season average of 3,198 spectators attended the games of the club.

From the summer of 2009, the newly-built, 6,000 -seat KV Arena replaced the stadium as a home ground of HC energy.
