Zinaida Reich

Zinaida Nikolaevna Empire (Russian Зинаида Николаевна Райх; * 21 Junijul / July 3 1894greg in Rostov-on- Don, .. † July 15, 1939 in Moscow) was a Russian actress.

Life

Zinaida Reich was married from 1917 to 1921 with the poet Sergei Yesenin, the father of her two children, and from 1922 with the director Vsevolod Meyerhold. In 1939, she was murdered shortly after his arrest in their shared apartment.

Reich was buried in the cemetery Wagankowoer.
