Zlatko Burić

Zlatko Burić ( born May 13, 1953 in Osijek ) is a Danish- Croatian actor.

Life and work

Zlatko Burić completed his training as an actor in the years 1968 to 1973 in the former Yugoslavia in his hometown of Osijek. In 1981 he moved with his Danish wife, with whom he has three children, to Denmark.

One his first film roles played Burić 1981 in Yugoslav television production Kugla glumiste. In 1996 him his breakthrough as an actor with the film Pusher. For this role he won the 1997 Bodil Award for Best Supporting Actor. He then starred in numerous Danish films, in some Danish television productions and international cinema films. In the U.S. disaster film 2012 by director Roland Emmerich, he played the Russian billionaire Yuri Karpov alongside John Cusack and Danny Glover, as they look towards the end of the world.
