Žuvėdra

The Klaipėda University team Zuvedra is a late information from Lithuania. It is among the best in the world and was seven times World and European champion eight times.

The team goes back to the mid-1960s in a cultural center in Klaipeda was founded in folk dance. In addition to folk dances and Latin dances were danced and founded a late information. Today the Late information " Zuvedra " belong to the Faculty of Arts at the University of Klaipėda, the dancers are recruited mostly from the students of the University.

In 1989, the team first participated in a World Championship of late information and finished 7th. Since 1994, the team took at the world championships of late information continuously one of the medal places, since 1995 also at the European Championships. In 1996, the Klaipėda University Zuvedra team for the first time with two teams at World and European Championships for Late information.

Coach of the Klaipėda University team Zuvedra are the couple Ona Skaistutė - Idzelevičienė and Romaldas Idzelevičius.
