'74 Jailbreak (English for " Prison Break '74 ") is a 1984 released EP of the Australian hard rock band AC / DC. It contains no new songs, but previously released only in Australia songs with the former lead singer Bon Scott, who died in the spring of 1980.

Background

The EP was released on October 18, 1984 in the U.S., Canada and Japan for the first time. Producers were Harry Vanda and George Young, who had already produced the first albums by AC / DC. The recordings on this album are from the years 1974 until 1976.

So the first title jailbreak comes from the Australian release of Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap (1976 ) and the remaining four songs from the Australian release of High Voltage (1975).

The song Jailbreak was released as a single and produced a video. 2003, as part of the AC / DC remasters series, '74 Jailbreak has been re-released.
