'otai

Otai is a fruit juice mixed drink from the island Republic of Tonga. It is offered as a soft drink and consists of water, coconut milk and a changing mix of fruit juices, especially coconut, melon, mango or pineapple. As a sweetener some sugar is sometimes added, in the normal case, the Otai is sweet enough but by the fruits. The most common combination consists of watermelons and contains no alcohol.

As an alcoholic ingredient is wine has established outside of Tonga, also ice cubes may be added. In this form of Otai is now internationally known.
