- minu [ minu ] (actually Hans -Peter Hammel, born June 16, 1947 in Basel ) is a Swiss journalist, writer and TV presenter, as well as an original Basel City.

Characteristic is his exalted style of writing. He's in the Basel area, a local celebrity, but also known in the rest of German Switzerland and Alsace.

Life

Hans -Peter Hammel attended the Grammar School and then the School of Journalism. Since 1967, he writes weekly columns for the Basler Zeitung, as well as guest columns for Swiss newspapers. On Tele Basel - minu since 2000 own cooking show ( Kuchiklatsch ), in which he surprised celebrities from the region with a specially tailored to their recipe. Since January 2008 - minu also has his own show on Telebasel with the title - minus month. He is also the author of several cookbooks. His columns and stories have appeared in numerous volumes.

Hammel has lived since 1968 with his life partner, the Basel lawyer Christoph Woodbach, in Basel, Alsace and in Italy, where he also writes stories about Italy. On January 5, 2007, she entered into a registered partnership.
