1 x Band

1 x band were a Slovenian band that consisted of Cole Moretti, Andrej Bedjanič president Tomas Kozec, Brane Vidan, Barbara Sinigoj and Sandra Zupanc.

In 1993, " 1 x Band" at the Slovenian preselection for the Euro Vision Song Contest, part of the EMA. This could also win ahead of Darya Švajger just nine votes, so that they could represent Slovenia at the competition. But since 1993 Slovenia wanted to participate along with six other countries for the first time, it had to go through the Eastern European qualifying round, the "1 x Band" with their song Tih deževen dan (German: " A quiet, rainy day " ) won. At the finals of the Euro Vision Song Contest 1993, held in Millstreet, they reached, however, only the 22th place with 25 participants.
