1000 PeaceWomen

PeaceWomen Across the Globe - in German: peace women around the world - is a Swiss organization based in Bern, who wants to support active women, and publicize in the peace movement.

It grew out of the campaign for the 1000 Women Nobel Peace Prize in 2005, the 1000 women nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2005. Campaign and organization initiated by the Swiss National Councillor Ruth -Gaby Vermot -Mangold.
