( 1021) Flammario is an asteroid of the main belt, which was discovered on 11 March 1924 by astronomer Max Wolf.

The name is derived from Camille Flammarion, a French astronomer and author of the 19th to early 20th century. The orbit has a semi-major axis of 2.7375 astronomical units and an orbital eccentricity of 0.2864. He moves at a distance of 1.9534 ( perihelion ) to 3.5216 ( aphelion ) astronomical units in a 4,529 around the sun. The orbit is inclined 15.821 ° to the ecliptic.

The asteroid has a diameter of 99.93 km kilometers and an albedo of 0.0458. In about 12.146 h it rotates about its own axis.
