104.6 RTL

104.6 RTL is a private radio station, which is produced by the hot AC format. It broadcasts from studios on the Kurfürstendamm in Berlin -Charlottenburg. According to media analysis 2011/II in a reach in an average transmission time ( Mon-Fri, 6-18 clock ) 209,000 listeners per day 709,000 listeners, making it one of the most listened to radio stations in Berlin and Brandenburg.

Program

The most listened to broadcast from 104.6 RTL is, as with most radio stations worldwide, the morning show, the " Arno and the morning crew " means here. The show, unlike the rest of the program a relatively high proportion of text that consists mostly of comedy content. It is since launch hosted by Arno Müller, who is also program director of the station at the same time.

The rest of the daily program is as usual at Hot AC stations, denied with a strong music -heavy program, interrupted by short presentations, hourly news ( which are always aired at 10 minutes before the hour), service information and advertising.

History

The program is broadcast since 9 September 1991. Model for 104.6 RTL was about the radio station 102.7 KISS -FM in Los Angeles, had been copied from the first broadcast even the design of broadcasting studios, as well as numerous program elements.

Since 1997, 104.6 RTL organized once a year with " Stars For Free " one of the largest free open air festivals in the Kindl- stage Wuhlheide.

Many program points from 104.6 RTL have now been taken over by the sister station Hit Radio RTL.

In January 2014, the DVB-T distribution in Berlin has ended.
