( 10606 ) Crocco is an asteroid of the main belt, which from the Italian astronomer Valter Giuliani and Francesco Manca Osservatorio Astronomico on Sormano (IAU code 587 ) was discovered in Sormano on November 3, 1996.

The asteroid was named after the Italian aircraft and rocket pioneer Gaetano Arturo Crocco (1877-1968) named the constructed during World War II blimps and wind tunnels. In 1951 he founded the Italian Rocket Society and was responsible that Italy in 1960 brought its own satellites into space.
