( 11668 ) Balios is an asteroid from the group of Jupiter Trojans. Thus asteroids are called, which run on the path of Jupiter on the Lagrange points around the sun. ( 11668 ) Balios was discovered on November 3, 1997 by P. Pravec at the observatory Ondřejov. He is associated with the Lagrangian point L5.

The asteroid is named after Balios, one of the immortal stallions Greek mythology, who originally belonged to Zeus and the Trojan War drew the chariot of Achilles.
