  • Lucius Quintus Fabius Maximus and Opimius Allobrogicus are consuls of the Roman Republic. Take back large parts of the Gracchan reforms because Gaius Sempronius Gracchus has not been elected tribune of the people. The voting comes to a tumult, whereupon the first time in the history of the Republic, the state emergency Senatus consultum ultimum is proclaimed. Gracchus ' supporters Marcus Fulvius Flaccus is killed, while Gracchus himself manages to escape, he allows himself to be killed shortly thereafter by a slave, however.
  • Southern France is conquered by Roman troops.
