122nd Infantry Division (Wehrmacht)
The 122nd Infantry Division was a military major unit of the Wehrmacht in the German Reich.
History
The division was on 7 October 1940, the Military District II (Stettin ) and Division 11 of the formation wave on the military training area large -Born to one third each of the 32 regiments, the 258th and the horse-drawn parts of the 14th Infantry Division compiled, which was converted into a Division ( mot ). The division was used in the Baltic Sea, the encirclement battle of Demyansk in Newel and Stalingrad.
You surrendered to the Army Group Kurland on May 8, 1945.
