1.25 meter - band is defined as the frequency range 222-225 MHz. The name is derived from the approximate wavelength of this frequency range. In some countries, is allowed in this frequency range amateur radio, but not in Europe, because here this frequency range is diverse broadcasting services, land mobile radio and mobile services is assigned.
