- May 7: Agnes Countess of Württemberg, eldest daughter of Ulrich I, known as the founder of Württemberg and Mechthild von Baden marries Count Konrad von Oettingen ( † before 1279 ).
- 24 June: After his refusal to return certain goods empire of King Rudolf, is imposed on the Bohemian King Ottokar II Premysl at the Diet of Augsburg of the Empire.
- Alfonso X of Castile (next to Richard of Cornwall 1257-1273 Roman- German king) is displaced from the government IV due to external failures and internal political failure of his son Sancho.
