  • 24 June: After his refusal to return certain goods empire of King Rudolf, is imposed on the Bohemian King Ottokar II Premysl at the Diet of Augsburg of the Empire.
  • Alfonso X of Castile (next to Richard of Cornwall 1257-1273 Roman- German king) is displaced from the government IV due to external failures and internal political failure of his son Sancho.
  • Edward I achieved the approval of a general property tax and to collect an export duty on wool, which ensures regular income in the next period and thus also borrowing from Italian merchants facilitated (see 1274).
