13 is the sixth studio album by British rock band Blur. It was published on 15 March 1999 and represents a more radical departure from the Britpop sound of the early days of the band is than its predecessor.

Description

Unlike many companions of the Britpop movement as Oasis and Supergrass to blur away towards the end of the 1990s more and more by the British trademark sound of the decade and beat comparatively experimental and the American lo-fi sound as well as the psychedelic rock of the 1970s inspired ways one. Only the second single Coffee & TV remembers still rudimentary to the previous sound of the band. For the first time the band left on this album also by her longtime producer Stephen Street and worked for a rock band uncommon, with the by then well-known only in the electronics sector together William Orbit, who had previously produced Madonna's album Ray of Light in the year. By international critics, the album was mostly well received.
