13816 Stülpner

( 13816 ) Stülpner is an asteroid of the main belt, which was discovered on 29 December 1998 by Jens Kandler at the Public Observatory Drebach in the Erzgebirge.

It was named after Charles Stülpner (1762-1841), one of Erzgebirge folk hero from Scharfstein (now a district of Drebach ). For many he is best known as daring hunter and protector of the poor, as the " Saxon Robin Hood" known.
