(139 ) Juewa is an asteroid of the main asteroid belt, which was discovered on October 10, 1874 by James Craig Watson.

Watson took part in an expedition that traveled on the occasion of the transit of Venus of 1874 in the Empire of China and should observe the transit from Beijing.
