14 Wall Street

The Bankers Trust Building is a according to the plans of the architectural firm Trowbridge & Livingstone 1912 completed skyscraper in Lower Manhattan, New York. It is a 164 -meter-high building with 37 floors. The building occupies an entire block and runs along Nassau Street from Wall Street to Pine Street. Directly opposite Federal Hall and the New York Stock Exchange.

The first phase began in 1910 with the demolition of the 20 -story Gillender Building. At the time of completion it was the tallest bank building in the world. The pyramid on the top of the building served as the inspiration for the logo of the Bankers Trust Company. The 31st floor was once JP Morgan, and was later converted into a restaurant, which was known as "The 14 Wall Street," by April 2006.
