- March 9: The drawn up by Jean de Montaigu Treaty of Chartres between Charles, Duke of Orleans and John the Fearless, Duke of Burgundy temporarily terminates the hostilities between the houses of Burgundy and Orléans.

- September 9: In a Bull Pope Alexander V approved the establishment of the University of Leipzig.

Religion
