16th Satellite Awards

The 16th ceremony of the Satellite Awards, which awards the International Press Academy (IPA ) each year in various film and media categories, took place on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles. The nominations were announced on 1 December 2011. In the 16th Satellite Awards Movies and Series of 2011 were honored. In the film industry for the first time the division into drama and comedy was canceled while the category " Genre Series " was introduced in the television sector.
