(1867 ) Deiphobus is an asteroid from the group of Jupiter Trojans. Thus asteroids are called, which run on the path of Jupiter on the Lagrange points around the sun. (1867 ) Deiphobus was discovered on March 3, 1971 by Carlos Cesco Ulrrico.
Was named the asteroid after the Trojan Deiphobus, son of Priam, a legendary figure of the Trojan War.
