1885 Wimbledon Championships – Ladies' Singles
Women's Singles Wimbledon Championships 1885.
Although with the previous year's winner Maud Watson was certain a defending champion, no Challenge Round was unusual for that time, played. Instead, Watson, as the other players had to fight through it through the field. In the final she beat Blanche Bingley with 6:1 and 7:5, defending her title.
