1895 population census in Bosnia and Herzegovina
The results of the population census in Bosnia and Herzegovina from April 22, 1895 were published by the Government of Austria -Hungary in 1896 in Sarajevo.
This third census since taking over the administration of the country by Austria - Hungary formally still the Ottoman Empire related Bosnia and Herzegovina had two objectives. On one hand, they should provide the basis for the simplification of administrative and on the other hand satisfy the interest of scientific and other circles.
