The 24.Wimbledon Championships were held on the grounds of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club on Worple Road in 1900.
It was held in a mixed competition for the first time. As with the women's doubles tournament started last year was recognized only from the 1913 championship status even when mixed.
Men's Singles
With a four- set victory over Sydney Howard Smith in the Challenge Round to Reginald Doherty scored his fourth consecutive title.
Women's Singles
In the women's Blanche Bingley Hillyard won their sixth and final title. For the first time with the US-American Marion Jones took a player of some outside the United Kingdom in the ladies competition.
Men's doubles
The brothers Doherty beat in the Challenge Round Herbert Roper Barrett and Harold Nisbet with 9:7, 7:5, 4:6, 3:6 and 6:3.
