The 26th edition of the Wimbledon Championships took place in 1902 on the grounds of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club on Worple Road instead.

Men's Singles

Lawrence Doherty defeated in the Challenge Round last year's winner Arthur Gore and picked up his first of five titles.

Women's Singles

The Challenge Round of the ladies between Charlotte Cooper and Muriel Robb had to go two sets to be stopped due to heavy rain with the score at 4:6 and 11:13. The following day the match was restarted, and Muriel Robb won with 7:5 and 6:1 their single title.

Men's doubles

In the double- Sydney Smith and Frank Riseley could break the winning streak of the brothers Doherty. They won the Challenge Round 4:6, 8:6, 6:3, 4:6 and 11:9.
