The 28th edition of the Wimbledon Championships took place in 1904 on the grounds of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club on Worple Road instead. With 62 applications in the men and 41 for the women of the All- Comers Competition, a new record was achieved.

Men's Singles

Lawrence Doherty defeated in a rematch of last year's Challenge Round Frank Riseley in three sets. He thus won his third title.

Women's Singles

Dorothea Douglass won the Challenge Round against the challenger Charlotte Cooper for themselves.

Men's doubles

Lawrence and Reginald Doherty defeated in the Challenge Round Sydney Smith and Frank Riseley with 6:1, 6:2 and 6:4.
