1906–07 in English football

The Football League First Division in 1906/07 was the 19th season of the Football League First Division as the highest English football league. Newcastle United won with three points against newly promoted Bristol City distance the second English championship in the club's history. In addition to Bristol City could get the class with Manchester United, the second climber. Instead, had to Derby County FC and Stoke the transition to the Second Division compete. These two teams should be in the following season replaced by the two newly promoted second division Nottingham Forest and Chelsea.

A total of 517 players were used, with Bristol City 18 with the least and the Bury FC with 32 aufboten most players in league games. 181 newcomers were offset by 154 footballers who most recently came into play in the 1906/ 07 season.
