The 30th edition of the Wimbledon Championships took place in 1906 on the grounds of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club on Worple Road instead.

The Russian Grand Duke Michael and his daughter Anastasia attended the tournament.

Men's Singles

Lawrence Doherty defeated in the Challenge Round Frank Riseley and thus scored his fifth and final title.

Women's Singles

In a rematch of last year's Challenge Round Dorothea Douglass defeated the defending champion May Sutton.

Men's doubles

In the Challenge Round could be this year Sydney Smith and Frank Riseley against Lawrence and Reginald Doherty with 6:8, 6:4, 5:7, 6:3 and 6:3 prevail.
