1907–08 in English football
The Football League First Division in 1907/08 was the 20th season of the Football League First Division English as the highest football league. Manchester United won with nine points behind before Aston Villa and Manchester City for the first time in club history the English Championship. Both newly promoted Nottingham Forest and Chelsea were able to get the class. Instead, the Bolton Wanderers and FC Birmingham had to play the course in the Second Division. These two teams should be in the following season replaced by the two newly promoted second division Bradford City and Leicester Fosse.
A total of 512 players were used, with Nottingham Forest with 19 the least and Newcastle United with 33 aufboten most players in league games. 137 newcomers were offset by 148 footballers who most recently came into play in the 1907/08 season.
