1907 Grand Prix season
The Grand Prix season in 1907 brought the new edition of the Grand Prix of France, had begun with the 1906 a new era in motorsports. Smaller races in Germany, Italy and Belgium indicated to the growing interest in motor sport.
The Vanderbilt Cup on Long Iceland (New York City ) was not carried out this year due to organizational problems to the upgrading of the line.
Emperor's Prize - Taunus
The Emperor price on 14 June 1907, after the Gordon Bennett race in 1904, the second major motor sports event in Germany. He was discharged on a 117 km long route through the Taunus, which led from the throne Monastery ( Wehrheim ) about Oberursel, Königstein, Esch to Weilburg and Usingen back.
