1909 Copa del Rey

The Copa del Rey in 1909 was the seventh edition of the Spanish Football Cup competition Copa del Rey.

The competition was held until April 8, 1909 by 4. Am tournament at the FC Barcelona took part ( Catalonia ), Athletic Bilbao (Bizkaia, Basque Country ), Español (Madrid ), Galicia FC ( Pontevedra, Galicia) and Club Ciclista de San Sebastián ( Gipuzkoa, Basque Country ). The team from San Sebastian was the only real club team in this tournament, they had changed their name only a few weeks before the tournament and officially registered; an application under the name of San Sebastian FC would gescheiterert because this club was not registered. The tournament eventually won Club Ciclista a 3-1 success over Español de Madrid.
