1912–13 in English football

The Football League First Division 1912/13, was the 25th season of the Football League First Division as the highest English football league. The AFC Sunderland won four points behind before the new FA Cup winners Aston Villa the fifth English championship in their history. Both newly promoted Derby County and Chelsea were able to get the class. Instead, Notts County and Woolwich Arsenal had to play the course in the Second Division. These two teams should be in the following season replaced by the two newly promoted second division Preston North End and Burnley FC.

A total of 485 players were used, where The Wednesday with the 16 least and Bradford City with 31 aufboten most players in league games. 125 newcomers were offset by 123 footballers who most recently came into play in the 1912/13 season.

In the following list, all players were listed who came for the Sunderland AFC in a league game for use during the 1912/13 season. It must be noted that in most cases a minimum number of games will be provided in English football to accept the official champion medal allowed. As regards the specific arrangements prior to the introduction of the Premier League, there is lack of clarity, all the players with an asterisk (*) have been provided which have received no champion medal presumably because of their small contribution. In brackets the number of bets as well as the goals achieved are called.
