1912 Copa del Rey

The Copa del Rey in 1912 was the tenth edition of the Spanish Football Cup competition Copa del Rey.

The competition started on March 31 and ended with the final on April 7, 1912. All games were held in Camp del Carrer Indústria, a stadium of FC Barcelona instead. Thus, the Copa del Rey was first held neither in the capital Madrid in the stadium of the titleholder.

At the tournament six teams should participate, but ultimately went only four at the start, as the team of the Infantry Academy of Toledo defending champion Athletic Bilbao and had retired shortly before the tournament starts. In the final, FC Barcelona defeated Madrid club Sociedad Española Gimnástica 2-0 and won the trophy for the second time.

The final was originally scheduled for April 3, but was on the orders of the governor of Barcelona postponed to April 7, so as not to coincide with the religious celebrations of Karmittwochs.

FC Barcelona was the 2-0 triumph for the second time after 1910 Spanish Cup winner.
